We are currently looking for on-site US-based Haitian Creole interpreter. An on-site Haitian Creole interpreter will provide interpretation services in a variety of settings, including medical and educational, empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and their needs.
Candidate Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of interpretation experience
Effectively interpret between Haitian Creole and English and vice versa
Adhere to guidelines for NCIHC Code of Ethics / Standards of Practice
Accurately complete assigned tasks/duties, projects, and paperwork promptly and within approved guidelines
Possess the ability to quickly learn and implement new and changing technologies
Possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly regulated environment
Demonstrate willingness and ability to complete additional duties and assignments on an ongoing basis
Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, electronic scheduling, and internet
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
